NPCI Hackathon - SimplifyUPI

NPCI conducts a hackathon each year and encourages FINtech and developers to participate in it.
The NPCI PayAuth Hackathon was organized in 2021. The proposition was to encourage FINtechs and developers to come forward and participate in the event and come up with ideas that could simplify user authentication on UPI apps - to enable more people to use it. When working on the campaign, I realized that UPI was one of the simplest forms of making payment. The hackathon was a challenge that was asking tech enthusiasts to further simplify something that was already very simple. Was it even possible? Thus was born 'Simplify UPI'.
